Melinda Lestyan

Melinda Lestyan is in her "half time career" - encouraging generosity, stewardship and development while serving on the board of multiple charities and encouraging collaboration among local non-profits. She is President and co-Founder of StrikeForceRVA, which is a women's giving circle that pools pledges and donations to award grants to local Christian non-profit ministries, aiming to make a significant impact in the community through "radical, life-changing generosity. She also served as Director of Stewardship at a local church for 8 years.  Prior to her half-time career, she served as Vice President and Fixed Income Investment Portfolio Manager with various banks and investment firms for decades.

Melinda has been married for 35 years and she and her husband have two grown children.

She has a Bachelor of Business Arts in Business and Economics as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Mississippi. Melinda also holds Certifications in Grant Writing and Fund Development from the University of Richmond.
